Over the last few years, we've all been told that work must be fun.
We should skip along office corridors on our skateboards. We should have a cheer after every meeting.
Indeed, when Mark Hussey -- aka Dogg -- had some fun at work, he was so overcome he actually wanted to tell people about it.
This got him fired.
What could possibly be wrong with showing your enthusiasm for your metier? Well, Dogg drove a snow plow in the city of Lowell, Mass.
As CBS Boston reports, he said this was the best job he ever had. It's just that one of the things that appear to have made it the best job he ever had was that it allowed him to bury parked cars in snow as he rolled along the streets.
Having myself been a garbage man once upon a time, I know that it's amusing to cause people a little turbulence in return for the fact that one gets up early and smells a lot.
In Dogg's case, however, he latched onto the modern notion of gadgetry and public broadcasting.
